Summer 2017: The Lions Club of Englewood Cliffs thanks all residents who donated their usable eyeglasses at this year's Community Night Out! Look for the "Lions Recycle for Sight" eyeglass donation box at future local events.

May 2016 was designated "Eyeglass Recycling Month" by Lions Clubs International. The Lions Club of Englewood Cliffs is proud to report 500 pairs of eyeglasses were donated through our local chapter. We want to thank all the individuals who generously donated their used eyeglasses. Recycled eyeglasses are redistributed in developing nations throughout the world giving the gift of sight to those who cannot afford corrective lenses. Lions are dedicated to the elimination of preventable blindness and the preservation of sight.
